About us

Our band was formed in December of 2006.  We have approximately 15 members. We are a Grade 5, non-competition band.  Most of our experienced pipers have been playing for 3 or 4 years.  Most of the newer pipers have 1 year or less of experience.  We presently have 3 drummers.  While we do not compete as a band, individual members are encouraged to enter at least one competition annually to receive feedback on their performance.  Our members range in age from 10 to "no comment".  If you have been around pipe bands at all, I'm sure you will recognize the same people in our band.

About you

You have the heart of a teacher.  Regardless of whether you are a world champion piper or a hometown amateur piper, you have valuable knowledge and experience that you want to share with an eager-to-learn bunch.  Perhaps you are visiting the Houston, Texas area for a few days.  Perhaps you live near us.  You are as excited about piping and drumming as we are!

Does it pay?

It might.  Depending on your requirements, we MAY be able to pool our own individual funds to pay you for your time, meals, housing.
