The Houston Highlanders were formed roughly forty years ago. Due to the
growth of Houston and its position as a predominantly oil related business
city, the pipe band has seen many members come and go through company
transfers, etc. However, the band has remained and continues to play a
prominent part in annual festivities such as the Robert Burns Supper, St.
Patrick's Day Parade, Dickens on the Strand, Daughters of the British Empire
Bazaar, and for the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society. Dawning of the Day PIPERS & DRUMMERS WANTED Prior musical training is helpful but not necessary. Initial expenses are minimal. The Highlanders practice each Monday at 7:00pm If you are interested, please contact:
